{4th Day of Christmas} Meltaway Cookies

Happy 4th Day of Christmas from Chelsea's Culinary Indulgence!

I am so thrilled to be a part of the 12 Days of Christmas Treats! What a fantastic idea and boy has Chelsea ALREADY had 3 amazing sweets posted. Who isn't excited for this magical time of the year? I know I am! But - what is this time of the year without all the yummy sweets it brings? Well this recipe is one my mother made very year this time of the year, gotta love tradition right? So that is why I chose to share these cookies with you all! This was the first year that I had tried to make them and I had no idea how easy peasy they were. This is what you do..

Here are your Ingredients: 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 c. flour
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Food coloring, if desired

Mix ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls (slightly flattened) on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes. Cool. Makes 1 1/2 dozen cookies! Mix frosting ingredients and frost cookies. They will melt in your mouth! 1 1/2 dozen.
